During our Fall-Spring Session, tuition is due monthly. Tuition payments are automatically withdrawn on the 7th of each month using the billing information provided at registration (credit card or bank account). Cash or check payments may be made by the 5th of each month. Otherwise, payment will automatically be processed on the 7th. For our Summer Session, full payment for the session is due upfront at the time of registration.
Yes, your monthly tuition amount will remain the same from month to month, with the exception of May, which is 2 lessons cheaper. This is because there are a total of 34 lessons over the year instead of 36. Your monthly tuition is averaged over an 8.5-month period. Some months you may have 2 or 3 lessons, while other months you may have 5 lessons. You will pay the same amount each month, except in May, which is 2 lessons less.
We have two main sessions. Our Summer Session runs for 4 weeks, with classes meeting 1-2 times a week. This is a great opportunity for new students to try out a class. Our main session runs for 8.5 months, beginning in September and ending with our Recital.
The Recital is usually held the first weekend in June at the Ritz Theatre in Tiffin. All students who take classes during our main session will have the opportunity to perform in the Recital. This year’s recital dates are June 4-6, 2027.
Most classes require a leotard, tights, and dance shoes. For more information, please visit our Studio Dress Code page
Tiny Toes, Pre-Ballet, and Ballet students need to wear their hair in a secure bun, with long bangs secured back.
All other classes require hair to be pulled up and away from the face, with long bangs secured back.

No, parents may leave to run errands or stay and wait. We do ask that parents of 3-4-year-olds in our Tiny Toes 1 class stay for the 1st month or until the child feels comfortable with the instructor and the class. We also ask that all young dancers, ages 11 and under, be escorted by an adult in and out of the building for safety reasons. Children under the age of 11 should not be left unsupervised at any time in the waiting areas.
Dancers can be fitted for dance shoes or purchase dancewear at our Fall Open House, held Aug 1-3, 2026, from 5:30-7:30 pm. During our main dance season (Sept-May), the studio office and store are open Monday-Thursday from 4:00-8 PM. In our studio boutique, we sell dance shoes, tights, leotards, dance apparel, bags, and other miscellaneous items.
For younger-aged classes, we set a maximum of 15-16 students per class. For older students, we set a maximum of 18-20 students per class. The class minimum is 8 students.
Students are placed in classes based on level and ability. We have minimum age requirements for most of our entry-level classes, but students can only move up if the instructor feels they are ready.
Students in entry-level classes will typically be able to move up after a full year at that level. Students in all other levels can only move up if the instructor feels they have progressed and are ready. Following the Recital, instructors fill out an evaluation card for each student in their class, indicating whether they feel the student is ready for the next level. In many of our Intermediate-Advanced level classes, it is typical for students to remain at these levels for a longer period of time.
Although Ballet isn’t for everyone, we definitely recommend it because it is the foundation of all dance. It gives dancers a strong technical foundation that will benefit them in other dance classes.
